Introduction to the IBM Mainframe

This course provides a thorough introduction to IBM's z/OS MVS operating system and environment, and centres on TSO, ISPF and JCL.

 

Audience

The course is intended for delegates who are new to computing or who are moving to the IBM z/OS MVS environment from a mini or mid-range one.

Prerequisites

The course is not only suited to those delegates with a proven aptitude to computing but also to those with or without a programming background or indeed those delegates from other disciplines.

Duration

The course is intended to run over 5 or 6 days but may need to be extended further depending on the delegates' experience.  Practical exercises will take part throughout the course.
