Advanced COBOL Programming

This course describes and explains the features now available in COBOL/370.  It includes a separate COBOL-85 (COBOL-II) topic for those delegates not familiar with the extensions, a dump analysis topic and full details of Intrinsic Functions that were added in 1989 for those platforms that support them.

 

Audience

The course is ideal for COBOL programmers who have no or very little experience of COBOL-II or will be working with the COBOL/370 compiler.

Prerequisites

All delegates attending this course should be experienced COBOL programmers.

Duration

2 - 4 days (depending on requirements and whether the Debugging topic is included), hands-on.
